PTL Questions
The St. Peter Lutheran PTL exists to support and uplift our teachers and staff as they serve our school community. We also strive to promote the well-being of students by encouraging strong partnerships between home, school, and church. Through Christian fellowship, service, and open communication, we aim to strengthen our school family and enhance the educational experience for all.
The PTL supports the school and staff by holding an annual fundraiser so that we can help fund classroom needs and show appreciation to teachers and staff throughout the year. We provide meals, gifts, and encouragement during special occasions like Teacher Appreciation Week. We organize family events that build community and enrich student life.
The PTL helps plan and support a variety of events throughout the school year. This includes family fun nights, an annual fundraiser, staff appreciation and classroom support projects.
We need and appricate all volunteers as they are who make the PTL function. You can currently volunteer by using our "Volunteer" page where we have a Volunteer Interest Form you can fill out. Also, you can reach out to any PTL board member or email us at PTL.StPeter@gmail.com Please be patient with our response time as we are all volunteers.
All parents or guardians of children enrolled at St. Peter Lutheran School are automatically members. Church members who are interested in supporting Christian education are also welcome to join. Every member has voting rights, and leadership roles are shared fairly between church and community families.
The PTL board will meet to discuss and make decisions, with input from parents, teachers, and school leadership. While we may have discontinued traditional in-person PTL meetings, we stay connected through digital communication and are always open to feedback. Major decisions are made by the Board, with a focus on what best supports our school community.
Absolutely, you're always welcome to bring ideas, questions or concerns to the PTL! We're happy to hear your feedback. You can do this by contacting any of the PTL board members or by emailing us at PTL.StPeter@gmail.com Please remember that we are volunteers and allow us time to respond. However, if your concern involves school rules, curriculum, or building issues, those must be handled by the Board of Christian Education. If it's about a specific person or relationship, it's best to talk directly with those involved.
