YOU'RE INVITED to our Cozy Christmas Movie Night on December 13th at 5pm! FOR DETAILS AND TO RSVP
Visit our PledgeStar link https://stpeter.pledgestar.com/ and follow the quick setup steps. Once you register, you’ll receive a custom fundraising page that’s easy to share with family and friends.
They can donate online through your child’s PledgeStar page using a credit card or by selecting “check.” If they choose “check,” instructions on who to make it payable to and where to send it will be emailed automatically.
Checks should be made payable to: St. Peter Lutheran School PTL
Yes. If your children are registered together on PledgeStar, the system automatically splits donations evenly among them.
When are donations due?
All cash and check donations are due by October 31st to allow time for per-lap pledges to be finalized.
After the Fun Run, PledgeStar emails those donors to let them know how many laps were completed. They can then pay online using their existing link.
Yes! PledgeStar makes it easy — donors can give from anywhere by clicking the link shared by your family.
Yes! Students can pick up a Cash & Check Form from their teacher. The form helps track donations for prizes. Please return all envelopes to school by October 31st.
The Fun Run takes place October 24th at 12:30p in the field behind the playground. Each class will have a scheduled time to run.
How long will students run?
Each group will run for 20 minutes around a track in the field.
Volunteers will place paw print stickers on each student’s back every time they cross the starting line. Students should slow down at the start line to make sure each lap is counted.
We encourage students to wear blue or school spirit wear and comfortable gym shoes. They should dress for the weather since the event will be outdoors.
Water cups will be available during the run, and a drink is included in their participation gift.
Yes! Every student joins the run, no registration or donation is required to participate. It’s all about fun, fitness, and school spirit.
Students will report their laps to a volunteer and receive a participation gift. Their teachers will return with students to the classroom to finish the remaining day.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will be moved to the gym. We’ll notify families as soon as possible.
Their donations still count! If they received per-lap pledges, we’ll adjust them to flat donations.
Prizes will be distributed 2–4 weeks after the Fun Run once all donations are finalized.
What prizes can students earn?
Students can earn individual prizes based on how much they raise, plus:
Top Class Prize: Pizza party for the highest-earning class.
School wide Prize: Ice cream sundaes for everyone if we reach our $5,000 goal!
When will the pizza party be?
We aim for the week of November 3rd, depending on when donations are complete and what works for the teacher. All students in the winning class will be included, even if they didn’t raise money.
Yes! Every student gets to celebrate once the goal is met.
When will we find out the results?
You can track our progress at https://stpeter.pledgestar.com/ We will post the final results in the PTL newsletter as well as the school website as soon as all donations are collected.
Funds raised go directly to supporting our teachers through classroom stipends, lunches, and Teacher Appreciation Week and Christmas gifts. If we exceed our goal, we’ll use the extra funds for classroom needs and future family events!
Our goal is $5,000! Help us reach it so we can celebrate with an all-school ice cream sundae party.
Thank you all for successful FUN RUN! We are working on getting prizes together and will have them to runners as soon as they are all together. We are also working on planning ice cream sundaes for all students and a pizza party for the class who raised the most. We have to wait for final check and cash donations before announcing the winning class. Thank you for your patience and your participation.
Students can ask family and friends for donations in two ways:
Per Lap Pledges: sponsors commit an amount for every lap completed
Flat Donations: sponsors give a set amount, no matter how many laps are run
Every student will receive a participation gift just for being part of the Fun Run!
Students can earn additional prizes based on how much they raise (full list coming soon).
The top earning class will win a pizza party
If our school reaches the overall donation goal, the whole school wins an ice cream sundae!
The PTL’s main goal is simple, support and encourage our teachers. Donations raised through the Fun Run help us provide things like:
Teacher Appreciation Week
Treats, supplies, and encouragement for staff
Events that bring our school community together, like the Ice Cream Social
When we’re blessed with enough funds, we’re also able to host additional PTL events throughout the year that make our school experience even more special.
As a private school, we know families already make sacrifices to send their children here. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us show our teachers how valued they are and allows us to give back to the community that pours into our kids every day.
✨ Thank you for helping us make this year’s Fun Run a success and for supporting the heart of our school...our teachers!
